Equatore is the contemporary reinterpretation of the classic lamps with glass shade. If in traditional abat-jour the diffuser houses the light source inside, the diffuser is paradoxically empty because the luminous effect is produced by two luminous discs inside a central metal band, visible on the lampshade and which recalls the line of the equator. The light produced is distributed regularly on the surface of the discs, radiating them with light. The lower disc produces a downward light emission while the upper one illuminates the colored glass cap. The frame is in galvanized metal while the diffuser is in transparent glass. Thanks to the included dimmer it is possible to adjust the light intensity of the lamp.
