Designer light bulbs: the right source for every lamp and every room
The light bulb is the element that determines the final quality of the light: a designer lamp with the wrong bulb never performs at its best. The three fundamental parameters to evaluate are: colour temperature (in Kelvin), which determines whether the light is warm, neutral or cool; colour rendering (CRI), which measures how faithfully the light reproduces the colours of objects; and luminous flux (in lumens), which indicates the quantity of light produced regardless of consumption. For relaxation spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms, a temperature between 2700 and 3000 K with a CRI above 90 is recommended; for kitchens and studios, 3000-4000 K is appropriate.
The Animosi selection covers LED, filament and special bulbs in every format, selected for compatibility with the brands in our range. To choose the right bulb for each room, find inspiration in lounge and living room lamps, kitchen lamps and bedroom lamps. For accessories that complete the installation, visit the lamp accessories section. For lamps that require specific bulbs, explore pendant lights and table lamps.
