Kartell

Founded by Giulio Castelli in 1949, Kartell took its first steps in the creation of the design of everyday objects in plastic materials, never before used for that purpose. Suddenly objects become practical, colourful, fun, iconic. Philippe Starck, Ferruccio Laviani, Patricia Urquiola, Alberto Meda and Vico Magistretti are just some of the designers who have created symbolic products of the brand. From the beginning the main objective of the brand has been the continuous research of materials, shapes and finishes. This continues today, with great know-how and a projection into the future that contemplate the use of sustainable and recycled materials.
