Kartell lamps: polycarbonate design that turns light into colour

Kartell has done something very few brands manage: it took an industrial material, polycarbonate, and turned it into a contemporary language of luxury. Kartell lamps do not simply diffuse light: they capture it, filter it and colour it, creating effects that no other material can replicate. The Bourgie, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, reinvents the classic table lamp with wit and lightness, available in a range of colours from transparent to black, through pink, green and gold. Philippe Starck's Battery brings the same language to the world of rechargeable lamps.
